- JOB SUMMARY
- As an Education Coordinator, this role is pivotal in organizing and facilitating educational programs for veterinary professionals. Primary responsibilities will include assisting in developing curriculum materials, coordinating training sessions, and ensuring the seamless delivery of educational content. This role requires a deep understanding of veterinary medicine, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with educators, industry experts, and veterinary professionals.
- EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE SKILLS & ABILITIES
- EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in veterinary science, education, or work experience accepted in lieu of education.
- Advanced degree (DVM, MSc, or PhD) is a plus.
- EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in curriculum development and coordination of educational programs.
- In-depth knowledge of veterinary medicine and a passion for promoting continuous learning in the field.

- Availability to work 12 months per year in-person at our Las Vegas location (not a remote position).

- JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Administrative & Organizational Tasks
- Develops and maintains office forms and procedures and assists with administrative tasks.
- Works independently and within a team on projects.
- Types and designs general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
- Follow proper accounting procedures for invoice processing; ensure approval prior to submittal; and provide supporting invoice documentation.
- Work independently and organize and prioritize work; analyze and troubleshoot complex issues; develop, recommend, and implement solutions.
- Create, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures within programs under Veterinary Conference Education.
- Create, update, and maintain Academy course offerings, to include course titles, descriptions, learning objectives, instructors, notes and materials, and pertinent RACE information.
- System management – eShow, Microsoft programs
- Contractor Payroll for Speakers
- Performs tasks as directed by the Director of Veterinary Conference Programs.
- Coordination & Collaboration
- Acts as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies and vendors.
- Work with Operations and Business departments to coordinate speakers’ travel, lodging, honoraria, audiovisual needs, and presentation management. Acts as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies and vendors.
- Assist with collecting and coordinating course materials with speakers, including presentations, course objectives, assessments, course descriptions, agendas, CVs, bios.
- Coordinate with marketing to ensure educational offerings are accurately displayed and updated on the company website.
- Review and quality control of the website content and educational program for accuracy and educational offerings.
- Continuing Education (CE) & Regulatory Compliance
Submit RACE applications to CE Broker for educational events, including Academy Courses or other educational programs as needed, to include
- Session descriptions and learning objectives
- Speaker names, credentials, resume/CV, and speaker biography information.
- Payment of applicable fees associated with the application (coordinated through the Director of Conference Education)
- Client & Customer Relations
- Professional and courteous demeanor is required when always interacting with Viticus Group internal team and clients.
- Building relationships with customers and clients.
- Developing solutions for customer issues.
- Attending to clients' needs and developing relationships.
- Coordinating internal tasks related to accounts to ensure clients receive products and services.
- Assisting new clients through any processes.
- Project Management & Risk Assessment
- Assessing the interdependencies between projects.
- Identifying potential risks and developing contingency plans.
- Data Entry & Record Keeping
- Annual conference Hands-on Labs – assist the Director of Veterinary Initiatives and coordinate creation, speakers and data entry, coordination for these courses as they integrate with the annual conference
