Our client in Wilton, CT is looking for nurturing, caring, and energetic Early Education Teachers who have a genuine passion to work with children 5-years-old and younger.

• These are Direct Hire positions with the school
• Full-time; Monday-Friday; year-round employment

Open Positions

• Lead Infant Teacher; working with children 6-weeks to 18-months-old
• Lead Toddler Teacher; working with children 18-months to 3-years-old
• Lead Pre-K Teacher; working with children 4- to 5-years-old
• Assistant Toddler Teacher; working with children 18-months-3 years old
• Assistant Two's Teacher; working with children 24-months to 36-months old

Salary

Lead Teacher $25.00 - $29.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Assistant Teacher $20.00-$24.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Job Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
• Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18-years-old
• REQUIRED Education: High School diploma or GED; Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development preferred
• REQUIRED Experience: Must have at least 3-years of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
• Must meet background check eligibility
