- Description
- Responsible for manually unloading and performing very detailed inspections of the paint coverage, surface finish, and stamping defects or missing components. This role ensures that only high quality parts proceed to the next stage of production or shipment by carefully removing painted parts from the racks and visually looking at them. Must be able to do the inspections, segregate, and document non-conforming part defects to group leader and all management team. Strong attention to detail, perform repetitive tasks, stand for long periods of time, and keep area clean. Must be able to follow work instructions and schedule to meet and exceed customer expectations. Ecoat unload positions are on 1st and 2nd shift, openings will be discussed in interview process.
- Requirements
- Must be able to work 40 hours a week Monday - Friday with occasional overtime. Must have the ability to stand, lift, carry items of various sizes regularly. Lifting weight will not exceed 35 lbs. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Must be able to perform repetitive tasks. Must be able to see well enough to pass a quality quiz & be familiar with paint defects found in our industry. Computers, monitors, label printers, and barcode scanner experience is a plus, not required - we will train as they are used in this position.
