Hello! We are looking for native Dutch speakers to work on a broad variety of phonetic transcription projects relating to Voice AI. Example projects include phonetic transcription (IPA/SAMPA), validating speech data (audio/text), pronunciation of words, localization/proofreading/editing, and other tasks required to support the Dutch team. A background in linguistics and/or phonetics is preferred. We are looking for individuals who are able to be flexible and who can quickly adapt to new tasks and detailed instructions. You will be joining our roster of Language Specialists who will receive various language work on a priority queue. Please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee a regular stream of work. Our projects will be requested to you on short notice, but you will have the choice to accept or turn them down. Requirements: * Dutch native speaker in the Netherlands; * 2+ years of experience with language data and localization; * Extensive understanding about the syntax, grammar and vocabulary of the Dutch language; * Has worked on testing / is familiar with voice AI; * High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely; * Great communication skills; * Available to work a minimum of 10 hrs/week and up to 15 hrs/week; * Linguistics studies is a BIG plus; While we cannot guarantee a consistent work influx, we do our best to maintain regular communication with our freelancers, and make sure that we remain aligned for the duration of all our projects. It is vital for us to work with responsive professionals who are adaptable and also understand the importance of meeting deadlines.
