• Our training program will prepare you for a career in operating some of the world’s largest state-of-the-art Hot Isostatic Presses. We are processing parts for the Aerospace, Medical, Energy, Defense, and Firearms industries.

• This job posting is for the SWING SHIFT: Mon-Fri, 1pm-9:30pm

• Pay: $22 per hour + $1 per hour swing shift differential

• As directed by the Operations Supervisor, the Kittyhawk Driver is responsible for safely transporting product to and from Kittyhawk Albany following the established routes and schedules as provided.

• A CDL is NOT required at this time for this position
• No smoking in truck.
• Driver is only authorized to use truck for Kittyhawk related duties.

• Requirements

Requirements

• Responsible for pickup and delivery of customer production to and from Kittyhawk facilities operating the truck in a safe and responsibly.
• Responsible for keeping product documentation in order with deliveries and pickup
• Responsible for providing signature for pickups and deliveries as required
• Responsible for driving safely and maintaining safety and security of product on truck
• Responsible for adhering to the schedule and route as provided and notifying the Production Supervisor of any changes or delays in the daily schedule
• Responsible for keeping truck interior clean and orderly
• Responsible for maintaining truck in good working order by performing daily pre-trip inspections and logging and communicating any issues identified to the Operations Supervisor
• Responsible for inspecting all load securing equipment to ensure it is in proper working order and removing any damaged load securing equipment from service and placing it on the Operations Supervisors working area with a Red Tag attached
• Responsible for properly securing product on truck for transport
• Responsible for following customer protocols for drivers picking up and delivering while on customer locations (safety glasses, hard hat, high visibility shirt, safety shoes…)
• Responsible for adhering to Kittyhawk Safety Procedures
• Responsible for adhering to Kittyhawk Quality Procedures
• Responsible for proper operation of forklift, walkie, and pallet jack
• Responsible for supporting Operations with Shipping and Receiving duties
• Maintains punctual and regular attendance
• Actively demonstrates and promotes Kittyhawk’s Core Values
• Other duties as assigned
• QUALIFICATIONS
• Individual must have a current and valid Oregon’s Drivers license with a clear driving record. A CDL is NOT required at this time for this position but may be required in the future. Individual will need to be able to obtain a CDL if/when required. Individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Experience driving delivery trucks and forklifts preferred but not required. Experience with basic operator/driver inspection checklists preferred but not required. Experience working for an organization with a Quality Certification such as ISO9000, AS9100 or Nadcap preferred but not required. Kittyhawk will train the selected candidate.
