Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers and architects.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed schematics that are utilized in the manufacturing and construction processes
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to gather product and structural requirements
• Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Revit
• Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems
• Check final drafts for completeness and accuracy
• Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and architects

Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, MicroStation
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of 2D animation is a plus
• Familiarity with NavisWorks for building information modeling (BIM)
• Experience in mechanical design and drafting is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.62 - $26.65 per hour
