City/State Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: The Director, Business Analytics & Strategy Integration serves as a strategic liaison between Data & Analytics and a designated business domain, unit or location, ensuring alignment between Data & Analytics initiatives and business objectives. Acting as the primary point of contact for business leaders, the position manages relationships, identifies and mitigates barriers and roadblocks, negotiates priorities, and provides holistic data & analytics updates. This role is embedded within the business, attending, strategic, operational, and project meetings, and coordinating with Data & Analytics and business leaders to drive effective execution. The Director, Business Analytics & Strategy Integration is a strategic role aligning with a business domain, unit, location or set of locations. This role ensures alignment of analytics activities to Sentara strategy and business unit needs. The Director, Business Analytics & Strategy Integration acts as the intermediate between business and Data & Analytics. The leader may oversee and direct activities of aligned leaders. Principal duties include managing the relationship between Data & Analytics, IT and Business Leads/Units, leading status updates with business leaders and presenting holistic Data & Analytics status for business unit/location. This role works to identify and mitigate barriers and roadblocks, negotiates priorities with scale & business and is the first point of contact for business analytics initiatives. The role is responsible for coordination with other aligned leaders regarding projects and priorities. The Director, Business Analytics & Strategy Integration works with business to make operational improvements required to make analytics effective. The role works with IT to identify and implement technology that allows for advancement of operational practices. The role is responsible for the coordination of business analytics reviews with business and IT leaders. This role is embedded with the business to attend strategic, operational, and project meetings for resources, input and updates. The role is responsible for bringing Scale resources to meetings when necessary.
