Job Description
- The Digital & Social Media Manager supports South Mountain Creamery’s overall marketing efforts, with a primary focus on leveraging social media, blog content, and paid digital advertising to achieve targeted business goals. This role is ideal for a creative and organized individual who enjoys storytelling, community building, and bringing brand narratives to life across digital platforms.
- The Digital & Social Media Manager will plan, create, and manage engaging content that strengthens our online community, increases brand awareness, and supports sales growth. This role plays a key part in shaping how customers experience the South Mountain Creamery brand online.
- Digital Marketing Strategy Execution
- Implement and support digital marketing strategies that align with brand goals, including customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Social Media Management
- Create, write, schedule, and publish content across all social platforms. Monitor performance, engage audiences, and maintain a consistent brand voice.
- Digital Advertising Management
- Oversee paid digital campaigns, including social ads, display ads, and other digital placements. Track performance metrics, optimize campaigns, and report on key outcomes.
- Blog Copywriting & Content Creation
- Write compelling, SEO-friendly blog posts that support marketing initiatives, highlight brand storytelling, and drive organic traffic and customer engagement.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's in Marketing or related field
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and voice for different audiences and platforms.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) and scheduling tools.
- Experience managing digital advertising campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads, etc.).
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with a strong eye for visuals, branding, and storytelling.
- Basic photography and/or videography skills for content creation.
- 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or a related field.
- Experience in copywriting or journalism
- Familiarity with SEO principles and website content optimization.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools.
- Knowledge of CRM or email marketing platforms.
