Job Title: DF AY25/26 Space Mission Job Description: Students in these positions will design and test payloads consisting of Arduino boards and various sensors to demonstrate readiness to the reviewing committee. Students will launch payloads on flight day alongside other universities in Colorado. After project completion each student will receive a stipend for being enrolled in PH491H in Fall 2025 and participating in the design of a balloon payload from Colorado Space Grant Consortium. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Strong knowledge of astronomy, mathematics, and physics. Strong computational skills. Successful completion of PH491H in Fall 2025. This position is benefits-eligible for workers’ compensation and will receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
