We’re hiring builders. Operators. Creators. People who want to move fast, learn faster, and grow alongside a company that’s reshaping snacking. If you’re looking for a company where your work shapes the business—and your career accelerates with it—welcome to Fruitist.

At Fruitist, we’re harnessing the power of data to revolutionize sustainable agriculture, and we’re looking for DevOps Engineers to help lead the way. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you’ll work with development teams to accelerate delivery, improve code quality and security, and streamline processes. By identifying bottlenecks and implementing infra-as-code, you’ll enhance developer experience and support services across multiple clouds. You’ll also track metrics and manage access to information. Together, you’ll help drive innovation and efficiency in agriculture through data-driven solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate in planning to enhance delivery timelines, code quality, and process efficiency across precision farming tools

  • Create and enforce coding standards, automating processes to streamline data-driven agricultural operations

  • Manage development and production environments, track metrics, and address incidents for smooth operations

  • Develop expertise in platform configuration management and troubleshooting for scalable farming solutions

  • Deploy applications across cloud and on-prem environments, supporting sustainable farming practices

  • Partner with developers and technical teams to identify and address weaknesses in coding and development

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, innovative solutions in agriculture

What You’ll Need
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Mathematics and Statistics background is a plus)

  • 4-5 years experience of proven coding and scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Shell) with hands-on experience in implementing large-scale cloud architectures on modern platforms

  • Expertise in automating infrastructure provisioning using tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, and Terraform

  • In-depth knowledge of both on-prem and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure), including services, storage, networking, and caching management

  • Experience with container technologies, such as Docker or OpenShift, for scalable deployments

  • Solid experience in continuous integration, utilizing tools like Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Ant, Git, and Sonar for streamlined development workflows

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in DevOps environments

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly process complex information, present it clearly, and a curiosity-driven passion for learning to tackle new challenges

If you meet most of the qualifications above and connect with our mission to inspire enjoyable and nutritious snacking, we want to hear from you! While we are tech-forward in our embrace of AI to enhance our growing capabilities, we’re human-centric in our hiring. This means all applications will be reviewed by humans, including yours. We aim to respond to applicants within two weeks. We look forward to hearing from you!
