About
We’re looking for an experienced Webflow developer to build a video-first website that highlights churches, ministries, and community events in the Santa Cruz area. The site will feature a cinematic homepage video, dynamic pages for churches and ministries, and a CMS-driven events page. All videos will be hosted on YouTube (for SEO) and embedded on the site. We already have a functioning website with strong SEO, so it’s essential that the new Webflow site matches the existing sitemap and preserves SEO value. The ideal candidate will have experience with SEO-sensitive migrations, creating scalable CMS structures, and designing clean, user-friendly sites that are easy for our team to update. If you’re skilled in Webflow, video integration, and SEO preservation—and have a strong portfolio to share—we’d love to hear from you! I uploaded two files of how we would want the new website homepage and inner page for Ministries and Churches to be designed. I will send over a design of the individual organization page soon. //Scope of Work// Homepage: -Hero section: Full-width moving video background (video file already created and provided). -Clean, modern design that emphasizes video-first storytelling. -Navigation menu: Home, Churches, Ministries, Events, About Us. //Inner Pages// Churches Page: -Grid of thumbnail images (with church logo or featured image). -Each thumbnail links to a dedicated church page. Ministries Page: Same structure as “Churches Page,” but for local ministries. Thumbnail links to each ministry’s dedicated page. Church / Ministry Individual Page: Dedicated page per organization: -Embedded YouTube video gallery for all content from that church/ministry. -Flexible layout for adding descriptions, contact details, and external links. Events Page: -CMS-driven events section where upcoming and past events can be listed. -Event entries should include: title, description, date/time, location, and optional embedded video (from YouTube). -Design should allow us to feature major events prominently (e.g., hero section for the next big event). -Easy for us to add new events or archive past ones without developer assistance. Requirements: -Strong experience with Webflow development and responsive design. -Ability to set up a scalable CMS structure in Webflow for adding churches, ministries, and events. -Skilled at embedding and organizing YouTube video content for optimal viewing and SEO. -Proven experience with SEO migration best practices, including: -Reviewing the current site’s SEO setup (titles, schema, internal linking, meta descriptions, alt tags). -Preserving sitemap and URL structure. -Setting up proper redirects (if needed). -Clean, professional UI/UX design aligned with a modern nonprofit/faith-based aesthetic. -Clear communication and ability to deliver within agreed timelines. Deliverables: -Fully functional Webflow site (homepage + initial Churches, Ministries, Events, and 1 sample organization page). -Sitemap that matches the existing website’s structure to preserve SEO. -SEO review of current website before development to ensure nothing critical is lost. Documentation or a short walkthrough on how to: -Add new churches/ministries/events -Embed new YouTube videos into organization pages -Manage thumbnails, event listings, and page content Ideal Candidate: -Proven track record of Webflow projects (portfolio required). -Experience creating video-first websites. -Experience handling SEO-sensitive website migrations. -Strong eye for clean, user-friendly, and scalable design. -Ability to collaborate and offer design input based on best practices. Project Timeline & Budget: -Target launch: 12/1/2025 -Budget: $6000.00 Please include in your proposal: A brief description of your experience with Webflow and SEO-sensitive migrations. Relevant portfolio links. Estimated timeline for project completion.
