- ARG Industrial is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver / Warehouse Support team member for our Spokane location. In this role, you’ll deliver products to customers while providing top-notch customer service, and support daily warehouse operations including freight handling, inventory control, and stocking merchandise. We are looking for a self-starter who works well with others in an energetic team environment, has the ability to take charge, and possesses a willingness to learn. The candidate must be organized, possess a strong attention to detail, and strive to provide a great customer service experience.

- Job Summary
- Under the direction of the Branch Manager, the Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of orders to the correct addresses. The Delivery Driver will also be responsible for picking up purchase orders within the local area. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining customer satisfaction and representing the company in a professional manner.
- Essential Functions

- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with the team and customers.
- Verify piece count and order number and match it with the customer’s pick ticket.
- Consolidate and verify orders before loading, ensuring they are labeled with the correct order number, name, and address information.
- Fill and complete bills of lading (BOL) for any necessary orders.
- Plan the fastest route for each delivery, considering traffic and delivery schedules.
- Adhere to customer policies when delivering orders.
- Manifest orders and attach BOL into our ERP system.
- Detect and report faulty equipment, vehicles, improper operations, and unusual conditions to the appropriate level of management.
- Work in a manner that ensures the safety of oneself, others, and company property.
- Exercise proper use and care of tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Maintain vehicles and ensure they are refueled as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Working Conditions
- Ability to operate computer systems and other standard office equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach to work effectively within warehouse.
- Occasionally climb stairs.
- Occasionally lifting and carrying objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Adherence to safety protocols.
- Working in moderately noisy environments, normal for warehouse environments, or industrial settings.
- Minimum Qualifications
- Successfully pass drug test screenings throughout employment.
- Possession of valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions accurately.
- Commit to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety protocols.
- Demonstrating accountability for personal performance and quality of work.
- Attention to details and commitment to delivering error-free results.
- Effective time management stills to ensure efficient delivery schedules.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and performing basic mathematical calculations.
- Adherence to company policies, procedures, and the proper use of company resources.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Conducting oneself in a professional manner while representing the company.
- Education
- High school diploma, or equivalent evidence of educational proficiency at the high school level.
- Experience
- Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns is beneficial.
- Experience in handling and organizing shipments is preferred.
