• We're currently seeking experienced and caring individuals to join our team as cooks. As a cook, you will assist in the overall management of the day-to-day operations of all food preparation and cooking in the kitchen.

What You’ll Do

• * Responsible for cooking, baking, and food preparation 
• * Ensure safe food storage and disposal, including maintaining temperature logs.
• * Cook is responsible for preparing meals and snacks for children with special dietary needs
• * Maintain the children’s allergy list regularly.
• * Weekly ordering and receiving all food supplies, and replenishing dishware and cookware
• * Follow food portioning guidelines and maintain appropriate food inventory
• * Complies with all health regulations and the company’s best practices
• * Upkeep kitchen cleaning schedule, including dishwashing, daily, weekly, and monthly duties
• * Occasionally required to prepare food for field trips, school-age programs, and community events.
• * Duties and responsibilities may change from time to time according to the needs of the daycare centers.

• Who You Are

Required

• * High School diploma/GED equivalency required
• * Valid driver's license and a clean driver’s abstract.
• * Current Food Handler Certification or willing to get
• * Clear background checks and up-to-date health assessments.
• * Ability to push, pull and lift to 50 pounds 
• * Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• * Ability to take initiative and problem-solve effectively. 

• Preferred

• * Experience working with vulnerable populations
• * Experience working with children.
