Overview We’re looking for a video editor to edit a short film (3–5 minutes) that’s already been fully filmed (approximately 30 minutes of raw footage) and has a script. The story was written and performed by 12–13 year olds, so we want a fun, polished final result while keeping it age-appropriate and light hearted. Scope of Work Edit a 3–5 minute short film from existing footage (script provided) Create and add all on-screen titles (opening/title card, credits) Basic visual effects (simple, clean, not heavy VFX) Find and add license-free / royalty-free music (must be safe for YouTube and provide source/license info) Basic audio cleanup and mixing (dialogue clarity, music levels) Color correction/basic grading for a consistent look Deliver final exports + deliver the full DaVinci Resolve project (including timeline, project files, and organized media references) Requirements Must edit in DaVinci Resolve Ability to work with youth/family-friendly content Strong pacing/storytelling instincts for short-form narrative Clear communication and willingness to do 1–2 light revision rounds Experience with similar, family friendly narratives a plus, but not required Comfortable being credited with your name in the final credits Deliverables 1. Final video (3–5 minutes) in 1080p 2. Full Resolve project delivery (project + timeline + assets used, including titles and music references) To Apply (please include) 1. Your hourly rate 2.
