Role:
Data Warehouse Administrator
Location: This role will be remote in the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii
Reports to: Director, IT & Security
Classification: Exempt Full Time

Salary Range: $90 - 105K

Summary:
This role will provide crucial data related to crisis services, fundraising, operations, and more, to teams
across Trevor. Serving as the technical administrator of all data infrastructure at The Trevor Project,
this role will connect our source systems (including Salesforce, Genesys, Okta, Mailchimp, Google
Analytics, SAP Litmos, Amplitude, and others) to our BigQuery data warehouse using ETL
technologies. This role will work closely with our in-house teams, particularly the Data Analytics team,
to provide the resources needed for Data Analytics and Business Intelligence processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Strategically partner with teams across the organization to understand data infrastructure needs
  • Implement requirements (data models, views, etc. in the data warehouse) for data analytics and BI needs as directed and prioritized by the Data Analytics team
  • Design, Implement, Maintain, and Monitor ETL data pipelines and optimize pipeline to achieve the appropriate balance of performance and cost
  • Design, Implement, Maintain, and Monitor The Trevor Project Data Warehouse including the creation of views and models, and the provisioning of data set access for various business users and needs
  • Ensure that data design standards are optimized to enable various business intelligence and visualization platforms as required by business stakeholders
  • Ensure data integrity and data privacy
  • Demonstrate fair, ethical, and equitable business practices

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of combined education, work, and/or certification experience with demonstrated expertise in Data Lifecycle Management and ETL pipelines.
  • Proficiency in:
  • SQL (specifically aggregation and analytical functions)
  • Technical documentation
  • BI Visualization Tools (e.g. Looker Studio, PowerBI, etc)
  • ETL Pipelines (e.g. FiveTran, Airbyte, AWS Glue, etc)
  • BigQuery and other relational and nonrelational databases
  • Server-side scripting and programming languages that support the above work
  • Preferred experience with Google Cloud, with Contact Center environments and associated data and/or other cloud infrastructure providers
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
