Job Description I’m looking for an experienced QuickBooks bookkeeper/data entry specialist to help with multi-year catch-up bookkeeping. The work will involve converting PDF bank statements into QuickBooks-compatible formats, importing them, and categorizing transactions quickly and accurately. Scope of Work 1. Convert PDF bank statements into QuickBooks-ready formats (CSV/QBO/OFX). 2. Import transactions into QuickBooks Online (access will be provided). 3. Review and categorize each transaction into the correct expense/income categories. 4. Exclude personal expenses and flag any unusual or unclear transactions for review. 5. Ensure monthly transaction lists are complete and reconciled with the statements. 6. Provide clean monthly reports and annual Profit & Loss summaries. Requirements • Proven experience with QuickBooks Online and bank data imports. • Ability to convert PDFs to CSV/QBO/OFX using tools such as PDF2CSV, MoneyThumb, or similar. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot misclassifications and duplicates. • Experience handling multi-year bookkeeping catch-up projects. • Organized, efficient, and able to complete work quickly and accurately. Deliverables • QuickBooks-ready imports for each account. • All transactions categorized accurately. • Monthly reconciliations. • Final P&L summaries by year. Project Length & Volume • Multiple years of bank statements. • Thousands of transactions across several accounts. Ideal Candidate • Bookkeeper or accountant with QuickBooks certification (preferred). • Demonstrated experience with catch-up bookkeeping projects. • Clear communication and ability to work independently.
