Job Description: Data AnalystOverview:

A Data Analyst is responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and generating actionable insights to guide decision-making within an organization. They work with large datasets, employing statistical tools, visualization software, and database querying to identify trends, solve problems, and support business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Preparation:
  • Gather data from primary and secondary sources.
  • Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Organize data into usable formats, including databases or spreadsheets.
  • Data Analysis:
  • Analyze datasets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
  • Use statistical methods to provide insights and solve business challenges.
  • Perform predictive analysis to forecast outcomes.
  • Visualization and Reporting:
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to present data insights.
  • Create detailed reports for stakeholders, summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, finance, and IT.
  • Understand business requirements to tailor data analysis efforts.
  • Tool and Technology Utilization:
  • Use software such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or other analytics tools.
  • Manage and maintain data systems and databases.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data analysis.
  • Improve data collection and analysis processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
