We’re looking for detail-oriented contractors to help us verify and improve information about startup companies in our proprietary system. You’ll review startup profiles, check that web links work correctly, confirm that presented information is accurate, and evaluate AI-generated suggestions for possible updates. This project involves around 30,000 short review tasks, each taking 30 seconds to 1 minute to complete. Contractors will also flag (“escalate”) items that require human judgment or additional context for our internal team to review. Responsibilities: Review and validate company data within a proprietary interface. Confirm that all links and key facts are accurate and up to date. Assess AI-generated suggestions and accept or reject changes based on simple guidelines. Escalate tasks that appear ambiguous or require higher-level review. Maintain accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all assigned tasks. Determine whether companies have been shut down or acquired. Requirements: Strong written and spoken English fluency. Excellent web search skills and ability to verify online information. Reliable computer and internet connection. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Work during U.S. business hours for onboarding and feedback. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with data entry, QA, content moderation, or fact-checking. Familiarity with startup or company information (e.g., Crunchbase, LinkedIn, AngelList). Comfortable working with AI tools or structured interfaces. Project Details: Timeline: Immediate start; project completion by end of 2025. Total Budget: Approximately $7,500 for the full project. Engagement Type: Fixed-price or hourly (depending on experience and throughput). Estimated Workload: Each task takes ~45 seconds on average; we’ll assign batches in phases.
