Project Overview: We're building EpicDetect, a cybersecurity training platform, and need experienced security professionals to write educational lesson content. This is CONTENT WRITING ONLY - no web development or coding required. What You'll Create: Written lesson content in Markdown format Each course topic breaks down into 2-3 modules, with each module containing 2-3 lessons Typical lesson: 1,000-3,000 words Clear explanations with practical, real-world examples Content suitable for beginner to intermediate learners Upon Initial Contact: We'll provide you with a list of available course topics (SOC operations, network security, SIEM, incident response, malware analysis, etc.). You can choose which topics match your expertise and interest. Course Structure Example: Topic: "Security Operations Essentials" Module 1: Introduction to SOC (3 lessons) Module 2: Alert Triage and Investigation (3 lessons) Module 3: Tools and Workflows (2 lessons) Requirements: Professional cybersecurity experience (SOC analyst, security engineer, incident responder, penetration tester, or similar role) Strong technical writing and teaching ability Can explain complex security concepts clearly to learners Industry certifications preferred (Security+, CySA+, CISSP, etc.) Deliverables: Original written content (no AI generation, no plagiarism) Markdown files following our lesson structure template Technically accurate and pedagogically sound content We are looking for individuals who would like to create content long term, as we pay per completed Track (a bundle of lessons, roughly 6-8 lessons) in milestone format.
