Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide new client onboarding.
- Train customers on using the PLS learning management system (LMS).
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering incoming calls and assisting customers with their inquiries or concerns.
- Utilize effective communication skills to build rapport with customers and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Monitor and update help desk ticket system. Assign tasks to others as needed.
- Respond to online customer inquiries.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to update customer information and maintain records in PLS’s customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Monitor customer usage of PLS’s LMS.
- Perform customer outreach to monitor customer satisfaction.
- Assist with creating lessons in Adobe Captivate.
- Create lesson handouts based on existing lesson content.
- Assist with reporting training records to various state regulators.
- Track projects in project management software.
- Download stock photos and place them in lessons.
- Assist with assigning lesson content to clients.
- Assist with creation of audio files for lessons.
- Assist with other lesson production needs.
- Assist with the transition to the new PLS learning management system.
- Assist with sales team emails and prospect follow-ups.
- Monitor accounts receivable and communicate with clients that have overdue payments.
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface with public safety professionals.
- Strong computer literacy skills with the ability to learn new software as needed.
- Strong reading, writing, and computer skills.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong experience with computer applications including the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Ability to remain poised and calm when faced with difficult situations.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
- Aptitude to learn new software applications quickly.
- Eagerness to take on new tasks and a wide range of responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet required deadlines.
- Minimum of a two-year degree or equivalent certification preferred.
- Two or more years of related experience.

Preferred software proficiency in the following platforms:
- HubSpot
- Zoom
- Adobe Captivate
Location:
- Remote. All PLS employees are remote.
- Candidates in Iowa, Missouri, Arizona, Texas, and South Carolina preferred.
Reporting Responsibilities:
- This position reports to the President & CEO.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position is not responsible for supervising other employees.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule.

Pay: $43,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
