About this position . . .

The position of Customer Fulfillment Specialist fat DeWoolfson combines both operational and customer service rolls that includes order processing, placing orders into production, communicating with customers online and by phone, working closely with the purchasing department, and providing assistance to the retail sales team. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, tech-savvy and able to learn new computer systems, comfortable dealing directly with customers, and resourceful in assuring customer satisfaction. Compensation is hourly with regular bonus opportunities shared equally by all employees.

Your key responsibilities . . .

  • Receive and enter customer orders from the online store and in-store sales team into sales software.
  • Communicate with customers and retail sales staff in person, by phone, or via email regarding order status, product availability, and general inquiries.
  • Provide accurate product information and advice to customers and retail team members.
  • Forward confirmed orders to the production department and monitor progress through the production cycle.
  • Support the retail team by helping organize stock, restock shelves, and assist customers in the retail showroom if needed during busy periods.
  • Assist in periodic physical inventory counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
  • Work closely with the purchasing team to assure timely fulfillment of orders.

You should . . .

  • Be comfortable using software for order entry, sales tracking and other functions.
  • Have strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor.

  • Be able to multitask and cross-over between departments and functions within the company.
  • Appreciate fine fabrics, design, and quality home goods.
  • Have experience with Excel or Google Sheets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
