Job Posting Title: Custodian Supervisor B Position Type: Classified Department: LSUAM FA - FPO - FS - BldSvc - DayMgmt2 - Day and Weekend (Shannon Marie Revish (00002385) (Inherited)) Work Location: 0100 Administrative Support Building Pay Grade: Job Description: Oversees the daily operations of Supervisors A and custodial staff servicing Facilities of a University Campus ranging in size 200.000 to 300.000+ square feet. Job Responsibilities Schedules work assignments and cleaning duties. Issues supplies, tools, and equipment. Inputs service requests through the work order management system FAMIS. Conducts weekly building inspections and lighting surveys. Assists in managing the pest control program. Work closely with material control coordinator and suppliers. Conducts quality control checks to ensure levels of cleanliness are met. Assist with orientation and conducts on-the-job training for employees in proper methods.-30% Responsible for ordering and distributing cleaning supplies for employees. Assist in the managing for annual budget. Required to prepare purchase request for monthly supplies, receive, complete, and close purchase orders. Receive deliveries, noting backorder items and/or omissions and recording discrepancies through the purchasing system. Maintain and manages the uniform program and safety equipment for each custodial employee. Required to participate on the on-call emergency team. Support in other departmental areas related to custodial supervision.-25% Creates and maintains permanent personnel records of each custodian's, Supervisor A attendance and work time. Submits payroll WORKDAY bi-weekly. Assists in the interviewing and selection process of custodial applicants. Acts as liaison for custodial staff with Facility Services administration and Human Resources Management. Conducts procedural discipline duties. Evaluates staff formerly on job performance through university policy and procedures yearly. -20% Maintains the key inventory and records daily for keys assigned to area responsibility which is used in the security of administrative and academic buildings. Assists in the security and safety measures for each building through visual checks, reported issues, and work order management. Responsible for the proper control of all furnishings and equipment through both visual and an established inventory management system for all recorded items in compliance with the departmental, university, and state regulations.-10% Supervise the mixing and application of unrestricted pesticides and chemicals used in cleaning. Supervises power washing projects of buildings, windows, sidewalks, and other exterior surfaces. Manage summer projects and supervise floor care projects such as striping and waxing, carpel cleaning etc.-10% Perform any other duties as assigned.-5% Additional Information 1) Ability to work in all weather conditions.
