Job Title: Cultural Data Collection Specialist with target countries including United Arab Emirates & Ghana) Project Objective/Description: We are looking for Cultural Data Collection Specialists to help build a global repository of culturally significant data. This project involves capturing text-based cultural insights across various countries. Raters will be asked to provide cultural data specific to their country, such as information on traditional foods, dance forms, festivals, languages, and more. This data will contribute to improving models that understand cultural nuances on a global scale. Responsibilities: • Provide accurate responses to questions about cultural aspects of your country, such as: o Is this type of dance native to your country? o Is this food native to your country? • Use a provided User Interface (UI) to submit responses. • Adhere to project guidelines for completeness, accuracy, and detail. Qualifications: • Strong knowledge and familiarity with the cultural heritage, practices, and traditions of your country. • High proficiency in English, as all questions will be presented in English and require a fluent understanding to ensure accurate responses. • Attention to detail, with the ability to provide culturally accurate and thoughtful answers. • Prior experience in data annotation, cultural studies, or linguistics is beneficial but not required. Preferred Attributes: • Interest in anthropology, sociology, or cultural studies. • Excellent communication skills to ensure clear, comprehensive responses. Location: Remote (with target countries including United Arab Emirates & Ghana) Project Duration: Pilot, with potential for long-term projects based on performance and project needs.
