About the Role We’re building our own in-house financing and micro-lending systems. You’ll design and run consumer financing and underwriting for U.S. customers ($50/month for 60 months, $0 down) and help oversee a micro-lending operation in developing countries that provides small business loans. You’ll manage underwriting, payments, collections, and eventually even company books. ⸻ Key Responsibilities • Build and manage the U.S. consumer financing program end-to-end. • Help launch a Microlending system in developing countries either approving or denying micro loans • Set underwriting standards and payment collection systems. • Choose and integrate financing or servicing software • Oversee accounting and maintain accurate books, ledgers, and financial reports. • Ensure compliance with lending laws and company policies. • Monitor portfolio performance and report metrics weekly. ⸻ Requirements • 3+ years in consumer or micro-finance, underwriting, or credit operations. • Strong bookkeeping and financial reporting skills. • Able to design new systems and manage multiple funding programs. • Comfortable making data-driven credit decisions. • Fast-moving, organized, and willing to build from scratch.
