About
I’m a travel and wildlife photographer / filmmaker, working closely with brands like Nikon and building my own creative brand across YouTube, Instagram, Twitch, and TikTok. My YouTube channel (8k+ subscribers, monetized) is just over a year old, and I’ve recently started livestreaming almost daily (7–8 hrs when not traveling). I specialize in cinematic travel films, behind-the-scenes storytelling, and I’m expanding into tutorials, gear/product reviews, and topic-based videos. I edit all of my cinematic vlogs and short documentaries myself, but I’m looking for a creative YouTube editor to collaborate with on the other content I can’t keep up with. What you’ll work on: Gear/Product Reviews & Topic Videos (8–12 min) – Talking head + b-roll + screen captures. Also general topics like “5 lessons I learned as a wildlife photographer” or “X mistakes I made doing Y.” Repurposed Shorts/Reels – Clip highlights from my films, livestreams, or reviews into 30–60s vertical edits with captions/text. Workshop Promos – Create 30–60s promotional reels for upcoming international photo tours (Uganda, Hokkaido, Mongolia, etc.) using my footage. Future: Livestream Highlights – Over time, cut engaging segments from my daily streams into shorts or casual uploads. Skills I’m looking for: Strong sense of YouTube pacing (knows how to make talking heads punchy with b-roll, captions, and graphics). Ability to add light graphics/text overlays and simple motion effects. DaVinci Resolve preferred (proxy workflows), but Premiere/Final Cut fine for shorts and promos. Creative eye: someone who can spot “this moment would make a great short” without me spoon-feeding. Strong ear for music timing and sound effects. Compensation Model: This role begins with a 3-month paid trial (hourly or per-video) so we can both test the fit. If the collaboration works out, there is potential for a long-term arrangement with consistent projects. Why this is worth your time: You’ll edit high-quality cinematic footage (wildlife, travel, Nikon projects). Massive backlog (100TB+ from 10+ international trips in the past 18 months). I’m fully committed: 2 anchor uploads/month plus reviews, shorts, promos, and daily streams. This is not a hobby channel—I’ve already built a multi-platform brand and am scaling it further. My work: YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@yobelprize Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/yobelprize Twitch: https://twitch.tv/yobelprize TikTok: ~100k followers If this excites you, please send: A short intro about you. 2–3 of your most relevant YouTube-style edits (gear reviews, talking heads, shorts/reels). Your preferred NLE (Resolve, Premiere, Final Cut). Your typical turnaround time. Looking forward to finding someone creative and reliable to collaborate with long-term.` Finally, above all else I am looking for someone who believes in the growth potential of my brand and would like to work with me long term as we grow together.
