We are seeking a talented designer to creatively integrate two awkwardly placed load-bearing posts into our space. The goal is to transform these structural elements into intentionally placed and aesthetically pleasing features that enhance the overall design and work with the flow of the house. The ideal candidate will have experience in interior design and architecture, with a strong ability to visualize and execute innovative solutions. If you can bring a unique perspective to architectural challenges, we would love to see your portfolio and discuss potential ideas. Note that this will not require any structural expertise. We will be keeping and working with the load-bearing posts, not removing them. This is solely a creative design project - not engineering or structural. You will be asked to create three creative 3-D design renderings, as well as an additional rendering reflecting the starting point with the posts showing (right now, there is a fireplace wrapping the posts, so I will explain where the posts are, and you will create a 3-D rendering of the area with posts showing but without the fireplace wrapping). Must be experienced with modern/contemporary design.
