Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Courier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and documents efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery driving and possess the skills necessary to handle heavy lifting and route driving. Your commitment to timely deliveries and safe driving practices will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Safely operate a box truck or other delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of all materials.
• Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and signatures.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient loading and unloading of goods.
• Assist with warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Courier or in a delivery driver role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, including familiarity with heavy lifting and moving items.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is advantageous.
• Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
• Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation skills for efficient deliveries.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
