Costume shop assistant Department: Theater and Dance Location: Yulman Theater Supervisor's Name: Brittney Belz Work Available: Afternoons, Nights and Weekends Pay Rate: $9.70/hr Number of Positions available: 2 Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Hours are in the afternoon with some evening and weekend times available depending on the needs of the shows. Sewing by machine and by hand. There is no need for prior sewing or theatrical experience Organizing, cleaning and prepping costumes for each show Create some crafts and accessories Qualifications: Ability to learn quickly Attention to detail Willing to ask questions Able to get along well with fellow students Students must be able to show up on time and understand that the type of work being done in the shop is highly variable depending on the needs of the current production.
