Position Duties

• Gathers, compiles, and inputs cost information while analyzing results for accuracy and omissions.
• Reviews and analyzes actual costs to identify inaccuracies, using the variance process.
• Prepares necessary departmental and company-wide budgeting reports.
• Reviews, analyzes, and reports on actual job profit margins.
• Performs month-end and year-end closings, assisting the Controller.
• Performs reconciliations on all inventory, including WIP accounts.
• Assist and back up Accounts Payable and Receivables.
• Prepares progress billings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2 years of experience in Accounting, with a preference for job costing.
• Willing to do both computer and manual processing of accounting details.
• Advanced Excel skills and other Microsoft software.
• Great attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good attendance.
