  • About the Role
  • We’re starting conversations early. This role is anticipated to begin in Q2 2026. Early candidates will have the chance to engage with our leadership team, understand our construction vision, and potentially shape the way the Roundhouse construction vertical is built from the ground up.
  • We are seeking an eager and highly motivated Construction Project Engineer to assist in overseeing the successful delivery of multifamily residential construction projects in the Boise, Idaho area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for construction, detail-oriented, and have a growth mindset.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Project Manager in coordinating all phases of construction to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Track project progress, documentation, and costs, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and material procurement.
  • Review and manage submittals and RFIs, coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals to maintain accuracy and project timelines.
  • Assist with cost tracking, purchase orders, and change management to ensure financial alignment with project budgets.
  • Conduct or assist in quality control inspections to verify compliance with plans, specifications, and codes; document and resolve non-conformance issues.
  • Support field operations by resolving technical issues and coordinating design clarifications during construction.
  • Maintain and organize all project records, reports, and safety documentation.
  • Promote job site safety by helping implement and maintain OSHA-compliant safety programs and inspections.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and trade partners to streamline communication, address issues, and improve overall project efficiency.
  • Qualifications
  • Required
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera, Smartsheet).
  • Strong knowledge of construction procedures, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to travel to job sites within the Boise area as needed.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with other departments and external stakeholders.
  • Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • OSHA 10 Certification
