• This Conference & Events Planner is responsible for the campus wide scheduling, planning, and implementation for meetings, events, and conferencing on the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus. The Conference & Events Planner fosters partnerships with campus wide staff, faculty, technical services staff, coordination with student staff, facilities, public safety, and the catering department. Reporting to the Associate Director of Event Management, this position will aid in the planning of all facets of USF Sarasota-Manatee events primarily occurring on campus but occasionally at off-site venues as well. The position will oversees logistics for conferences and events, including but not limited to the arrangements for registration, facilities set up, audiovisual equipment, security, parking and transportation.
