The job involves completing a Trademark expansion in 2 classes for a mark that exists in one class, expanding into a 4th class, and adding a new sub-mark in 1 or 2 of the same classes. The mark exists in one class already, and we submitted an expansion to 2 more classes using another attorney. Unfortunately we lost contact with the attorney and received the attached request for verification that did not make it to us, in June. In Sept. the USPTO sent us an email that the application would be abandoned in 2 months. We are now considering re-submitting, but there is a fee of $250 just to get the 2 classes active again, and we'd then have to still answer the question in the clarification letter. We are considering resubmitting from scratch, and adding a new class. We also have a related mark (a website) that we'd like to submit in one or two of the same classes. The serial #'s of the classes where we got the non-final action and search summary asking for corrections are 98910032 and 98910020 and the whole history of each can be found at the TSDR database.
