Location Overview:
Our London office is based just a stone's throw from the magnificent St. Paul's Cathedral on bustling King Edward Street. Here you'll find modern workspaces and a state-of-the-art auditorium space. The Team:
This role sits within the regional Compensation and Benefits (C&B) team, providing compensation support for specific business lines. You will be part of a dynamic and well regarded team working to deliver across all annual compensation processes, including year-end activities and reporting. Close partnership with the broader compensation and human resources teams are critical to success in this role.
Responsibilities will include:
- Compensation advisory, tracking and analytics, ensuring comprehensive understanding of regional issues and priorities.
- Accurately compiling, summarising and analysing data effectively to help drive fact-based decisions.
- Preparing line of business, country and regional compensation reporting and analysis throughout the year, and particularly for the year-end compensation review process.
- Developing, improving and maintaining dynamic tools.
- Ensuring appropriate governance and control activities across regional compensation processes.
- Contributing to a broad range of compensation initiatives and projects across the region.
What we are looking for:
- Experience of compensation practices within a large multinational financial services firm.
- Technical background required with exceptional ability in data analysis, interpretation and presentation, and attention to detail,
- Ability to use own initiative and judgement, to act proactively and work with low levels of supervision.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to summarise and articulate complex process / data into easily understood information.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in order to maintain a close working relationship with HR colleagues.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable managing large and complex datasets.
- Proficient in other Microsoft applications (Powerpoint, Word) and HR information systems.
