  • Summary
  • The Community Assistant reports to the Leasing Manager and is responsible for providing support to current and
  • prospective residents while ensuring they have a positive experience. The ideal Community Assistant will have excellent
  • communication skills, excellent organizational skills, be able to work independently, and have a passion for helping
  • others. The Community Assistant is responsible for complying with all state, federal, and/or local laws relating to Fair
  • Housing.

  • Requirements
  • Essential Duties
  • Warmly greets visitors, prospective and current residents.
  • Maintains positive resident relations through superior service when answering phones, returning calls, and/or assisting current or prospective residents in person.
  • Accurately sorts incoming packages, checks packages in and out, and maintains the onsite packaging system.
  • Responsible for filing office paperwork accurately, and in a timely manner.
  • Assists with marketing efforts, including creating and distributing promotional materials at local universities, student groups, and fraternity/sorority houses.
  • Assists with leasing activities as needed, including showing apartments, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements.
  • Provides prospective residents with brochures, information, and tours of facilities and available units as needed.
  • Assists with lead management of residents and prospects as needed while following HRA standards.
  • Assists with resident events and activities as needed.
  • COMPENSATION
  • Hourly Wage: $10-13 DOE
