  • Position Summary
  • We’re looking for a creative and motivated Communications & Social Media Coordinator to join our team part-time. This role is responsible for managing content creation, scheduling, and engagement across our digital platforms, as well as overseeing newsletters and e-blasts. The right candidate will help ensure our mission and impact are shared with families, donors, and community partners in meaningful and engaging ways.
  • What You’ll Do
  • Develop engaging content (written, visual, and multimedia) for social media and newsletters.
  • Manage posting schedules to ensure consistent and timely communication.
  • Share relevant content from partners, sponsors, and collaborators.
  • Create and distribute newsletters and monthly e-blasts.
  • Track and analyze performance of campaigns to improve engagement.
  • Support fundraising campaigns and event promotions.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and storytelling style.
  • Collaborate with staff to capture stories, photos, and program updates.
  • Assist with media outreach, website updates, and press releases.
  • Mentor PR/social media interns as needed.

  • Schedule: Part-Time (flexible, approx. 15–20 hours per week)
  • Location: Hybrid (Anaheim, CA office with some remote work options)
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
  • Qualifications
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools.
  • Basic photography/videography skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • Bilingual skills a plus (but not required).
  • Previous nonprofit communications or fundraising experience is a plus.
