- Position Summary
- We’re looking for a creative and motivated Communications & Social Media Coordinator to join our team part-time. This role is responsible for managing content creation, scheduling, and engagement across our digital platforms, as well as overseeing newsletters and e-blasts. The right candidate will help ensure our mission and impact are shared with families, donors, and community partners in meaningful and engaging ways.
- What You’ll Do
- Develop engaging content (written, visual, and multimedia) for social media and newsletters.
- Manage posting schedules to ensure consistent and timely communication.
- Share relevant content from partners, sponsors, and collaborators.
- Create and distribute newsletters and monthly e-blasts.
- Track and analyze performance of campaigns to improve engagement.
- Support fundraising campaigns and event promotions.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and storytelling style.
- Collaborate with staff to capture stories, photos, and program updates.
- Assist with media outreach, website updates, and press releases.
- Mentor PR/social media interns as needed.

- Schedule: Part-Time (flexible, approx. 15–20 hours per week)
- Location: Hybrid (Anaheim, CA office with some remote work options)
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
- Qualifications
- What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools.
- Basic photography/videography skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Bilingual skills a plus (but not required).
- Previous nonprofit communications or fundraising experience is a plus.
