About

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first

We’re looking for a strategic, creative, and organized Communications Lead to join our high-growth IFG team. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive internal communication campaigns that help sales agents, leaders, and cross-functional teams understand and adapt to changes in products, processes, technologies, and business priorities.

As Communications Lead, you will be the architect of clear, engaging communication plans that increase awareness, spark action, and reinforce company goals. You’ll design and deliver multi-channel communications—emails, instant messaging campaigns, intranet updates, knowledge articles, newsletters, executive talking points, and meeting materials—to support major change initiatives. You’ll also set the knowledge management strategy to ensure the right messages are delivered to the right people at the right time.

Beyond campaign development, this role owns the flow of communication within the organization—strengthening alignment, awareness, and collaboration across teams. You’ll implement programs that boost employee knowledge, connect strategy to action, and elevate engagement at every level.

Working closely with executives, change managers, product owners, and project leaders, you’ll serve as a strategic partner, advising on functional communications strategies often tailored by segment. You’ll exercise independent judgment in solving complex problems, navigate ambiguity, and determine the most effective path forward—balancing creativity with clarity and speed with precision. This role requires someone who can operate with minimal supervision, apply strong analytical thinking, and execute with confidence across a range of challenges from moderate to highly complex.

Key Responsibilities

Communications

  • Develop and execute integrated communication strategies that support key initiatives and reflect IFG’s goals, culture, and values
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure messages are accurate, timely, and relevant to intended audiences
  • Manage and optimize internal communications channels (e.g., intranet, newsletters, Teams, etc.) for clarity, engagement, and reach
  • Draft and distribute core messaging that supports change initiatives—including leadership updates, milestone announcements, and campaign-aligned materials
  • Produce high-impact content that enhances employee engagement and supports business strategy

Knowledge Management

  • Design and maintain knowledge management systems that help employees easily find and contribute critical organizational information
  • Maintain and regularly update knowledge assets such as wikis, intranet pages, playbooks, and repositories to reflect current practices and policies
  • Partner with departmental leads to document and standardize processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with communication needs
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning through targeted campaigns, training, and communication
  • Implement automation tools, templates, and self-service solutions to reduce duplication and eliminate knowledge silos

Change Management Communications

  • Lead communication efforts tied to change management strategies, ensuring messages are sequenced and tailored to increase understanding and adoption
  • Coordinate timing and delivery of communication across multiple workstreams to minimize disruption and enhance readiness
  • Present key messaging timelines and resources during internal change management and stakeholder meetings
  • Develop toolkits and templates for broader change networks to ensure consistency and scalability of communications
  • Support leaders and change agents with presentation materials, message guides, and change communication resources
