KPF, a global architecture practice headquartered in New York City, is seeking a Communications Coordinator to help bolster the firm’s external presence and brand at a pivotal moment in KPF’s history – its 50th anniversary. The ideal candidate for this role has studied or demonstrated a strong interest in communications, architecture, or a related field. This is primarily a writing-focused role, with the opportunity to own graphic design and photography projects as well. Reporting to the Communications Director, the Communications Coordinator will assist with a wide range of tasks that directly impact the firm’s external presence on both owned and third-party channels. They will also collaborate with peers on the broader KPF Marketing team. The global marketing team is a group of passionate writers, designers, and storytellers across the firm’s New York, London, and Shanghai offices. Primary Responsibilities: Update KPF.com and social media channels with the latest upcoming events, award wins, press appearances, project milestones, and other firm news Lead the curation and maintenance of KPF’s presence on third party project websites Own social media campaigns around specific events, bolstering the firm’s experts as thought leaders in their field Contribute to the production of award submissions on behalf of the firm, its projects, and its people Influence KPF’s positions in industry listings and rankings Assist with event production, planning, and media outreach for internal and external events Craft project narratives for KPF website and other platforms in collaboration with designers and studio leaders Assist with media monitoring, with opportunities to contribute to publicity campaigns, including press releases and targeted media outreach Qualifications: 0-3 years of professional experience in communications or related field. Strong writing, organizational, and time management skills, as well as keen attention to detail. Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign. Graphic design, photography, and videography skills are a bonus but not required. Bachelor’s degree required. Work Environment: This position requires you to be in person in our New York office 5 days per week. Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 Annual Why KPF?
