A commercial cleaning and post-construction cleaning company is looking for a Cold Caller / Appointment Setter (SDR) to turn targeted lead lists into qualified walkthrough appointments for the sales team. This is a long-term role for someone who is confident on the phone, organized in a CRM, and hungry to earn more based on performance. Responsibilities Daily Calling & Outreach • Make outbound calls to businesses from provided lead lists and CRM • Follow a clear script to: • Introduce the company and services • Ask qualifying questions (type of facility, size, cleaning frequency, current provider, contract timing) • Identify pain points with their current cleaning solution • Book walkthrough appointments for the sales/operations team • Send follow-up emails and SMS through the CRM to confirm and remind appointments • Handle light objections and keep conversations professional, friendly, and confident CRM & Pipeline Management • Work from the CRM (e.g., GoHighLevel or similar) – no loose spreadsheets • Update lead status after every call (New, Contacted, Qualified, Walkthrough Set, Not Interested, etc.) • Add clear notes so the sales team knows what was discussed • Tag and mark leads that are not a fit (too small, residential only, wrong contact, etc.) • Schedule follow-ups for “call back later,” “renewing soon,” and other warm opportunities Reporting & Communication • Attend short weekly check-ins via Zoom with the team • Send simple daily reports: • Number of calls made • Number of conversations • Number of qualified appointments booked and confirmed • Feedback on common objections or patterns you’re hearing • Suggest script or process improvements based on real conversations Ideal Candidate • Strong spoken English – clear, confident, and easy to understand • Previous experience in: • B2B cold calling, and/or • Appointment setting, and/or • SDR/inside sales for service-based businesses (cleaning, home services, marketing, real estate, etc.) • Comfortable making 60–80 outbound calls per day • Able to follow a script AND adjust naturally in conversation • Familiar with any CRM (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) – willing to learn a new one if needed • Organized and disciplined: updates notes and statuses in real time • Thick-skinned and positive: not afraid of “no” and keeps going What Success Looks Like You are successful in this role if you consistently: • Hit 60–80 dials per day • Book 12–20 qualified walkthrough appointments per month • Keep no-show rates low by confirming and reminding prospects • Maintain clean, accurate records in the CRM so the team always knows: • Who has been contacted • Who is interested • Who is not a fit and why Schedule • 20–40 hours per week (can start part-time and increase if it’s a good fit) • Must be able to work during U.S. business hours (Eastern Time overlap) for calling windows Compensation This role is paid with a mix of base + performance: • Base Pay: $500/month • Bonus: $20 for each qualified appointment that actually holds (not just booked) • Commission: 5% of the first month’s contract value on any contract over $2,500/month that comes from your appointments If you perform well, your earnings can grow quickly month over month.
