Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field required.
- Completion of an accredited dietetic internship program.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Clinical Dietitian, preferably in acute care, long-term care, or multi-facility management.
Licenses/Certifications
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration required.
- Oklahoma State licensure required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

- Position Summary
- The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for providing clinical nutrition expertise and oversight across all company managed healthcare facilities. This position ensures that each facility maintains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to dietary and nutritional services. The Clinical Dietitian will develop and implement patient-centered nutrition plans, provide education to patients and staff, and ensure that dietary programs align with best practices for patient outcomes.
- This position requires regular travel to managed facilities.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide clinical nutrition assessments, care planning, and follow-up for patients based on individualized needs, physician orders, and clinical standards.
- Oversee dietary operations at managed facilities, ensuring consistency in quality, compliance, and documentation.
- Review and approve menus for compliance with physician orders, diet restrictions, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct on-site audits of dietary departments to ensure compliance with CMS and state standards.
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical staff to integrate nutrition care into interdisciplinary care plans.
- Provide education and training to dietary managers, food service staff, and nursing teams on nutrition practices and dietary compliance.
- Monitor and evaluate nutrition outcomes, making recommendations for improvements in patient care or departmental operations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to nutrition and dietary management.
- Serve as a resource for clinical nutrition issues, diet formulations, and specialized patient needs (e.g., renal, diabetic, cardiac diets).
- Travel regularly to assigned facilities to provide support, training, and oversight as needed.
