  • HyerTek is seeking an experienced Client Delivery Director to lead and oversee project delivery across the company's full federal portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery of client solutions while maintaining strong client relationships and operational excellence across Microsoft-focused technical engagements.
  • The Client Delivery Director will manage a portfolio of 4–6 concurrent projects with 12–20 delivery resources on average, scaling as the company grows.
  • The Client Delivery Director will serve as a senior delivery leader, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. This role partners closely with executive leadership, technical teams, sales, and client stakeholders. It combines portfolio-level delivery oversight, client relationship management, and operational leadership. The individual acts as the primary working-level client contact and ensures delivery execution across all active engagements.
  • The role requires deep experience delivering enterprise solutions for federal government and U.S. Department of Defense customers, along with familiarity with federal compliance requirements. Direct experience with Microsoft technologies is a plus but not required.
  • The ideal candidate brings strong program management experience, excellent client-facing skills, and a proven delivery mindset, with the ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, regulated environments.
  • Requirements

The Client Delivery Director will own delivery execution across the organization. Responsibilities include

  • Directly managing all delivery resources, including project managers, developers, and consultants
  • Owning delivery health and performance across all active client projects
  • Managing project staffing decisions and resource allocation across the portfolio
  • Serving as the primary working-level client contact for government program managers
  • Identifying delivery risks early and driving mitigation strategies before escalation
  • Leading day-to-day client communication, status reporting, and issue resolution
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams across functional, technical, and vendor workstreams
  • Running delivery standups, reviews, and retrospectives across engagements
  • Ensuring project documentation, quality standards, and compliance requirements are met
  • Standardizing delivery processes, templates, and tooling across the organization
  • Conducting performance reviews, career development, and coaching for delivery staff
  • Participating in hiring decisions for delivery roles
  • Supporting pre-sales efforts through delivery planning and level-of-effort estimation
  • Collaborating with executive leadership to improve delivery processes and scalability
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and DoD requirements across all engagements
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of professional project/program management experience
  • Proven experience owning delivery across multiple concurrent federal projects
  • 5+ years delivering technology projects for federal government or DoD customers
  • Experience directly managing technical delivery teams (developers, consultants, PMs)
  • Experience managing multiple engagements of $500K+ in value
  • Comfortable engaging in technical conversations with development teams and clients; direct Microsoft platform experience is not required
  • Strong client-facing presence with government stakeholders at the program manager and director level
  • Strong judgment and ability to operate under ambiguity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working directly with clients and government stakeholders
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies (Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure)
  • Experience in consulting, professional services, or systems integration environments
  • Experience delivering enterprise solutions in regulated or security-conscious environments
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification
  • Experience with Agile delivery in federal environments
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Work Authorization & Location Requirements
  • This position is based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The role is primarily remote; however, the selected candidate must be able to work onsite at HyerTek headquarters 2–4 days per month. Occasional travel and additional onsite presence may be required based on client and business needs.
  • This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to successfully obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) clearance. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
