• Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee The Opportunity: The purpose of this role is to provide support to both internal and external customers by handling low-cost and/or low-complexity claims file inquiries, escalating issues when needed, maintaining accurate documentation, and adhering to established guidelines to contribute to the achievement of departmental success and corporate objectives. •Location: Montana, USA •Work Arrangement: This role is ideally a hybrid role requiring 3 days/week in our Missoula, MT office. The hours for this role are 7:30am-4:15pm MST Monday through Thursday, and 7:30am-12pm MST on Fridays. •The starting salary range for this role is between $21.00/hour and $31.50/hour depending on experience. Your New Role: Provide basic claims customer service support by answering inbound calls, responding to inquiries, and escalating issues to appropriate staff to enhance customer satisfaction. Assist in low dollar and/or less complex claims handling by gathering information, maintaining documentation, and resolving outstanding issues to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. Support customers by processing check registries, understanding claims procedures, and identifying process improvement opportunities. Communicate claims file status and details with relevant parties to deliver effective customer service. Cultivate claims support skills by seeking guidance, participating in cross-training, and learning additional processes. Settle claims according to company policies and procedures. Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to value performance, accountability, diversity, and collaboration. Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate’s professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE’s annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
