I’m looking for a talented children’s book illustrator who can also handle basic layout design for print (Amazon KDP). The project is a small illustrated book (under 15 pages) that will include cut-out elements for a paper Nativity scene. I already have the cut-out figures prepared — they just need to be incorporated into the book design in a visually cohesive and engaging way. Project scope: Create a book cover (front and back) Create 3 additional interior illustrations (in the same style as the cutouts) Incorporate provided cut-out designs into the layout Deliver ready-to-upload KDP files (PDF + cover with bleed) Requirements: Experience illustrating children’s books (ideally for ages 4–8) Strong sense of composition, color, and layout Familiarity with KDP formatting and print-ready file setup Ability to work with provided art assets and maintain consistency in style Good communication and ability to share sketches / drafts for feedback Bonus: Understanding of paper craft or DIY book design Deliverables: 3 illustrated cover (front + back) 4 full-color illustrations Layout and design of the full book (under 15 pages) Final print-ready files for Amazon KDP
