JOB TITLE: CASHIER - VIDEO GAMING OPERATIONS/ $16.30/HR

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES

Under the direction of the Cage Supervisor – Video Gaming Operations, the Cashier- Video Gaming Operations cashes patron ticket vouchers and issues new vouchers as requested.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Cash all patrons’ vouchers efficiently.

2. Must be familiar with all cage procedures, i.e. – handling of checks, comps, etc.

3. Ensure all cashier procedures are followed in an accountable and efficient manner.

4. Responsible for the daily reconciliation of assigned cash drawer.

5. Handle customer inquiries and make appropriate referrals as necessary.

6. Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND TRAINING

Ability to receive and disperse cash in an efficient and accurate manner. Ability to communicate effectively.

ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma or GED and prior cash-handling experience.

Must be approved for and maintain a valid Video Lottery Gaming Non-Key Employee license issued by the New York State Gaming Commission.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is an active role with prolonged periods of standing. This position requires the ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 20 pounds at a time and bend, crawl or stand as necessary. The person in this position must be able to talk and hear in order to ensure proper communication.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be available to work nights, weekends, and on holidays.

JOB TITLE: COUNT ROOM ATTENDANT - VIDEO GAMING OPERATIONS/ $17.39/HR

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES

Under the direction of the Count Room Supervisor – Video Gaming Operations, the Count Room Attendant- Video Gaming Operations is responsible for the counting and logging of all monies and vouchers received in the count room.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Receive monies from drop crew personnel and acknowledge receipt of cash boxes.

2. Remove money and vouchers from containers and prepare same for physical count.

3. Record count via designated reconciliation forms and perform cursory review of currency.

4. Bundle currency and vouchers and assist in the reconciliation of same.

5. Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND TRAINING

Ability to properly operate count room equipment. Strong cash handling skills.
