Cashier – Asian Family Market (Tukwila)

About Us Asian Family Market is a growing Asian supermarket group serving our local communities with fresh produce, meat & seafood, groceries, and daily essentials. Our new Tukwila flagship store is opening soon, and we are looking for friendly and reliable Cashiers to join our front-end team.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient checkout service

• Scan items accurately and process cash, credit/debit, EBT, and other payments

• Handle coupons, discounts, and loyalty programs according to company policy

• Bag groceries carefully and offer assistance as needed

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe front-end/checkout area

• Follow all cash-handling procedures and protect company assets

• Assist with returns, exchanges, and customer questions

• Help with carts, baskets, and light front-end support work as needed

Qualifications

• Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus, but not required (we will train)

• Friendly attitude and good customer service skills

• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately

• Able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight

• Reliable, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Bilingual in English + Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) or another language is a plus

• Able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed

Compensation & Schedule

• Competitive hourly rate: $[21.65–23]/hour, DOE

• Flexible scheduling; full-time and part-time positions available

• Eligible for company benefits per policy (details to be discussed in interview for full-time roles)

• 按公司规定处理优惠券、折扣、会员积分等

• 细心打包顾客商品，必要时提供协助

• 保持收银台及前台区域整洁、有序、安全

• 严格遵守现金管理流程，确保账目准确

• 协助处理退换货及顾客咨询

• 根据需要协助整理购物车、购物篮及前台其他简单工作

岗位要求：

• 有收银或零售相关经验者优先，无经验可培训

• 服务态度好，待人亲切，有耐心

• 具备基本数学能力，能准确处理现金

• 能适应长时间站立工作，能搬动一定重量的商品

• 责任心强，稳定可靠，能适应快节奏环境

• 中英文双语优先（普通话 / 粤语 佳），会其他语言更好

• 能配合周末、晚班及节假日上班

薪资与班次：

• 具竞争力的时薪：$[21.65–23]/小时（视经验而定）

• 班次灵活，可提供 全职或兼职 岗位
