I'm producing a map book and accompanying wall print series. I need a cartographer or GIS designer to create high-resolution terrain maps without political borders. Deliverables: Wall prints (up to 72 × 50", print-ready): - World map in 1–2 projections (e.g., Mercator, Winkel Tripel), depending on ratio and maximizing the available print areas for the wall map printers. - Regional maps: Europe, North America, Asia Book illustrations: - World and regional maps with varying label density/sizing from the wall maps - 7 regional maps (eg. Central Europe) Specifications — 2-3 different versions with settings like: - Topographical/terrain base (satellite or rendered — must be a source that can be used for commercial projects!) - Labels for cities, rivers, mountain ranges, lakes, oceans - Removal of political borders, but potentially using some other political features or labels - Print-ready resolution Looking for: - Experience with GIS software or cartographic design - Portfolio with relevant map work Please share samples and briefly describe your approach.
