  • JOB SUMMARY
  • Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Clinical Operations, the Business Development Manager of Clinical Programs is responsible for driving revenue growth respectively of overall profitability of Viticus Group’s Human Health and Animal Health clinical programs in Las Vegas and Nashville. This role includes managing key client relationships, overseeing center space utilization, and ensuring alignment of business opportunities with organizational goals. The Manager will design, implement, and maintain comprehensive sales strategies and goals within existing reporting systems to support sustainable organizational growth and long-term success.
  • EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE SKILLS & ABILITIESEDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Veterinary Science, or related field.
  • Additional certifications or professional training in sales, business development, or clinical education management preferred.
  • EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the medical, healthcare, or veterinary industries.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth, achieving sales targets, and expanding market share.
  • Experience and/or working knowledge of hands-on clinical educational environments (veterinary or human health).
  • Strong background in client relationship management, contract negotiation, and partnership development.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with medical and anatomical terminology.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic business plans and sales forecasts.
  • Experience managing or supporting teams to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Ability to travel nationally for conferences, client meetings, and partnership development.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on client and business needs.

  • JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES
  • CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
  • Acts as primary liaison for center clients or potential clientele.
  • Service existing center accounts, manage space requests, and cultivate new business by planning and executing a targeted client outreach schedule.
  • Conduct center client visits, presentations, and business development meetings, including travel to client offices to represent Viticus Group Animal Health and Human Health Programs.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, tradeshows, and networking events to promote Human Health and Animal Health center programs and services.
  • Provide insight on trends, client needs, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with internal teams (Clinical Operations, Marketing, Center Operations) to deliver high-quality client experiences.
  • Lead facility tours for prospective center clients, partners, and vendors to showcase capabilities and drive engagement and new Human Health and Animal Health business.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to the Senior Director of Clinical Operations.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships that strengthen client retention, loyalty, and repeat business.
  • SALES STRATEGY AND EXECUTION
  • Focus sales efforts by studying the existing and potential volume and pricing of similar animal and human health event facilities.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities in both human and veterinary health education.
  • Explore new markets (international, association, specialty programs).
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across service lines (e.g., catering, AV, housing).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely submission of course request forms, pricing quotes, and fulfillment of tissue, equipment, or event needs.
  • Provide input and recommendations on contract terms, pricing strategies, and service packages to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Partner with the Marketing Team to develop targeted outreach campaigns and promotional initiatives for both Human Health and Animal Health programs.
  • Assist in reviewing Human Health and Animal Health event contracts, quotes, and invoices as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of new service offerings, partnership opportunities, and innovative revenue streams for Human Health and Animal Health departments.
  • REPORTING AND MONITORING
  • Provide regular updates to leadership through detailed activity and results reports, including call/inquiry logs, weekly work plans, pipeline status, and monthly/annual business analysis.
  • Track and monitor competition by gathering and analyzing marketplace intelligence, pricing structures, and emerging trends.
  • Maintain accountability for revenue performance by developing accurate forecasts, tracking sales against budget, and identifying opportunities for improvement in Human Health and Animal Health service lines.
  • Deliver quarterly and annual business reviews to senior leadership with insights on performance, trends, and strategic recommendations.
  • COMPLIANCE AND KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT
  • Assist in managing the compliance program for clients.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
