About the Role: As the Business Development Manager for Distribution, you will be working with our Distribution Account Managers and Distributors to execute Business Development Programs globally. You will be required to help align company strategy, build our corporate and SMB sales through distribution with the focus of helping distribution managed partners generate incremental partner sourced revenue for CrowdStrike. To meet and exceed your individual quota, you will work with Distribution Account Managers (DAM) and their Distributors on building and executing CrowdStrike APEX programs globally that will generate pipeline through partner recruitment, enablement and business development activity all in a packaged gamiefied distributor delivered initiative. Working with partners and the CrowdStrike distribution & regional account managers, you will work on account mapping to access new logos and influence in deals. Key performance indicators include: CrowdStrike APEX program development and rollout across multiple countries and distributors globally Partner recruitment with a view to access to new logos - through account mapping exercises with our partners we can establish where we can help each other get access to new logos Partner sourced revenue - Distribution Partners help create new CrowdStrike pipeline through sales teaming, events, joint marketing and selling motions. Distribution Partner Development – growth in distribution partner base and their enablement/held accreditations. Upsell/Cross Sell – Leveraging CrowdStrike APEX to drive distribution to develop partners selling the full platform driving uptake of additional Falcon modules and services. Positive and active media, PR and industry event contributions from CrowdStrike APEX Distribution Partners as a part of the GTM motion. Supporting the development and execution of the Global Distributor Advisory Council. What You’ll Do: Strategic planning - Create and maintain a CrowdStrike APEX business plan that summarizes the overall program strategy including goals of the program and the milestones by which we will deliver the goals. Generate pipeline for CrowdStrike - plan and execute CrowdStrike APEX programs with support of the Distribution Account Managers and their local market objectives. Activities to include account mapping, enablement, certification, demand gen, call out days, events etc aligned to CrowdStrike APEX framework Performance management - Maintain a cadence of KPI measures for program and distributor performance, analyzing leading indicators of performance to propose corrective action where needed and engage with distribution to adjust plans and strategy as needed Engagement with Distribution Alliance Managers (DAM) in all regions to develop CrowdStrike APEX engagement strategies and program rollout. Work effectively with DAMs to encourage CrowdStrike APEX program uptake and adoption. What You’ll Need: 5-7 years of experience working with Technology Vendors in a Channel / Distribution led sales position Ability to network multiple levels within an account up to C-Level Experience in Cybersecurity is preferred. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to create and deliver value propositions. Ability to identify and influence critical decision-makers. Ability to succeed in a quota-driven sales environment at an Enterprise level. Proven sales track record Capable of closing solutions and services opportunities Strong business acumen and professionalism. Leadership accountability qualities are required.
