Thousand Oaks Plumbing (TOP) is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead our Preferred Partner Program (PPP). You’ll work with property managers, HOAs, apartments, elderly care centers, and commercial buildings to make TOP their plumber of choice.
  • What You’ll Do
  • Hunt for new opportunities and reactivate past accounts.
  • Networking at industry events
  • Build strong relationships through office visits, calls, and follow-ups.
  • Present vendor packages and secure account activations.
  • Manage accounts with top-quality customer care and responsiveness.
  • Partner with our operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Own your business development plan, report results weekly and hit financial goals.

  • What We’re Looking For
  • Proven business development, account management, or sales experience (service industry a plus).
  • Confident, personable, and comfortable walking into businesses unannounced.
  • Skilled at building rapport and influencing decision-makers.
  • Highlly disciplined in prioritizing time, focusing on high-value opportunities, and reporting weekly performance to the General Manager.
  • Ownership mindset — able to “own the program,” refine processes as needed, and achieve financial goals.
  • Valid California driver’s license in compliance with company policy, and ability to travel locally.
  • What Success Looks Like
  • You’re growing the Preferred Partner Program with new accounts and reactivated clients.
  • You’ve built strong, lasting relationships with property managers and decision-makers.
  • Your accounts receive timely, quality service that keeps them coming back.
  • You’re seen as the trusted connection between clients and our operations team.
  • You’re meeting or exceeding annual revenue goals
