Annual Salary: $64,135.50 - $68,640.00 Hourly: $32.89 - $35.20 Department: General Government, Maintenance & Trades Division: Facilities Management FLSA: Non-Exempt Job Description: In this role, you will manage the maintenance and repair of City facilities and supervise the activities of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing facilities and grounds. Examples of Duties: Conducts routine maintenance on systems of the facility such as HVAC, plumbing, minor carpentry, painting, etc. Refers major maintenance to the appropriate City division or vendor. Directs workers engaged in custodial and minor maintenance of the facility and surrounding grounds. Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies. Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards. Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment. Interprets policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crew. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Maintains time and production records. Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent and 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar software. Other Necessary Requirements: May require evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. In the event of major storms or other emergency situations, this position may be subject to 24-hour shifts or any other emergency schedule that is necessary to meet the City’s needs.
