BUILD: Construction Blueprint Estimating Web App (Multi-Trade) I need a web app built FAST for construction estimating across multiple trades. Must be completed in 7-10 days. THE APP: 1. PUBLIC UPLOAD PAGE - Upload blueprint PDF - Select trade from dropdown: * Drywall * Flooring (Tile/Wood/Laminate) * Roofing * Siding * Insulation * Masonry * Concrete/Foundation * Framing/Lumber * Painting - Enter: Project name, Address, Client name - Submit button 2. BACKEND PROCESSING - Receives PDF + trade selection - Sends to OpenAI GPT-4 Vision API (I'll provide API key) - Uses trade-specific AI prompts to extract: * Drywall: Wall area, sheets needed, studs * Flooring: Floor area, tiles/planks, underlayment * Roofing: Roof area, shingles, fascia, ridge * Siding: Exterior wall area, panels, trim * Insulation: Wall/attic area, batts/rolls * Masonry: Wall area, blocks, mortar bags * Concrete: Volume, cubic yards, rebar * Framing: Board feet, studs, joists, beams * Painting: Wall area (minus openings), gallons - Calculates material quantities with waste factors 3. ADMIN DASHBOARD (My Control Panel) - Login page - List of pending estimates (shows trade type, client, date) - Review screen: * View uploaded blueprint * See AI analysis and calculations * Edit quantities if needed * Approve and send OR reject - Auto-email PDF estimate to client - History of all completed estimates 4. PDF ESTIMATE GENERATION - Professional template (I'll provide branding) - Trade-specific formatting - Line-item breakdown: * Material name * Quantity needed * Unit (sheets, sq ft, cubic yards, etc.) * Estimated cost range - Total estimate - Professional footer with my contact info REQUIREMENTS: - Must work on mobile and desktop browsers - Clean, functional UI (speed over fancy design) - Handle PDF uploads up to 50MB - Store blueprints for 30 days minimum - Email delivery of estimates - Deployed and live (Vercel, Railway, DigitalOcean, or similar) - Source code provided - 2 weeks of bug fixes and support after delivery TECH PREFERENCES (Your choice): - Frontend: React, Vue, or simple HTML/CSS/JS - Backend: Node.js, Python, or similar - Database: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase - File storage: AWS S3, Cloudinary, or similar - PDF generation: Any library that works - Email: SendGrid, Mailgun, or similar BUDGET: $3,000-3,500 USD (Fixed price) TIMELINE: 7-10 days maximum TO APPLY: 1.
